Welcome to Ora (“we”, “us”, or “our”). Ora provides an intelligent scheduling automation layer, calendar synchronization, and AI assistant interface designed to help users optimize time allocation and productivity.

This Privacy Policy explains what information Ora accesses and collects, how we use that information, how we store and protect it, and the circumstances in which information may be shared.

By accessing or using our website, applications, and automated scheduling services (collectively, the “Service”), you agree to the practices described in this Privacy Policy.

Depending on how you use the Service, Ora may collect or receive:

• Calendar information from calendars that you connect to Ora.

Google Calendar Data

If you connect a Google Calendar to Ora, we access Google Calendar information through Google's APIs based on the permissions you authorize.

Depending on the permissions granted, this may include:

• Calendar names and identifiers.

• Event titles and descriptions.

• Event start and end times.

• Event locations.

• Event attendees and organizer information.

• Event recurrence and status information.

• Calendar availability and scheduling information.

• Information necessary to create, update, or delete calendar events at your direction.

Ora only requests and accesses Google information that is necessary to provide the calendar and scheduling functionality you use.

2. How We Use Information

Ora uses information collected through the Service to provide and operate our scheduling functionality.

• Read calendar availability and existing events.

• Identify scheduling conflicts.

Google User Data

Google user data accessed through Ora is used only to provide the functionality requested by the user, including calendar synchronization and automated scheduling.

Ora does not sell Google user data or use Google user data for advertising.

Ora does not use Google user data for purposes unrelated to providing or improving the authorized scheduling functionality.

Ora's handling of Google user data is intended to comply with Google's API Services User Data Policy and its Limited Use requirements, where applicable.

3. Google Account Authorization

When you connect Google Calendar, you authorize Ora to access the Google data described in Google's authorization screen.

You may revoke Ora's access to your Google account at any time through your Google Account settings.

If you revoke access, Ora will no longer be able to access Google Calendar information through that authorization. Features that depend on the Google Calendar connection may consequently stop functioning.

Ora does not obtain additional Google account permissions without requiring the applicable authorization from you.

4. User Responsibility

You maintain responsibility and ultimate control over your calendar, deadlines, commitments, and data entries.

Ora is a tool to assist with scheduling. Automated scheduling recommendations and calendar changes should be reviewed by you, particularly where they involve important meetings, deadlines, or commitments.

5. Storage and Retention

Information processed by Ora may be stored on servers operated by Ora or by service providers that support the operation of the Service.

This may include account information, calendar synchronization information, scheduling preferences, tasks, prompts, and information necessary to maintain the functionality you have requested.

Ora retains information only for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the Service, maintain security, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, enforce our agreements, or otherwise fulfill the purposes described in this Privacy Policy.

Google Calendar data is retained only for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the calendar and scheduling functionality requested by you, maintain authorized synchronization, or satisfy applicable legal or security requirements.

When information is no longer required, Ora will delete or de-identify it in accordance with its applicable retention and deletion procedures.

6. Sharing of Information

Ora does not sell your personal information or Google user data.

We may share information with service providers that help us operate the Service, such as providers of:

• Cloud hosting and infrastructure.

• Database services.

• Authentication.

• Calendar and API integrations.

• Security and monitoring.

• Error reporting and technical support.

• AI or automated processing services necessary to provide features requested by you.

These providers may process information only as necessary to provide services to Ora and are subject to appropriate contractual or technical safeguards.

We may also disclose information where reasonably necessary to comply with applicable law, respond to lawful requests, protect the rights or safety of Ora or others, prevent fraud or abuse, or enforce our agreements.

7. AI Assistant Processing

Ora's AI assistant may process information that you provide, including scheduling instructions, tasks, preferences, and relevant calendar information, in order to understand your requests and provide the scheduling functionality you have requested.

Where calendar or Google user data is processed by AI or automated systems, such processing is limited to what is necessary to provide the requested Service.

Ora does not use Google user data for advertising.

8. Data Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect information processed through the Service from unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction.

However, no internet-based service can guarantee that information will be completely secure or that our systems will always be free from vulnerabilities.

9. Data Deletion

You may request deletion of your Ora account and associated personal information by contacting us at:

You may also revoke Ora's access to your Google account through your Google Account settings.

Following revocation, Ora will stop accessing Google Calendar data through the revoked authorization.

Some information may be retained where necessary for legal compliance, security, fraud prevention, dispute resolution, or legitimate backup and recordkeeping purposes.

10. Your Rights

Depending on your location and applicable law, you may have rights concerning your personal information, including the right to request access, correction, deletion, restriction, or portability of your information.

11. Third-Party Services

Ora may integrate with third-party services, including Google Calendar, Google APIs, Supabase, and other infrastructure or service providers.

Your use of third-party services may also be subject to their respective terms and privacy policies.

Ora is responsible for its handling of information within the Service, while third-party providers may independently process information in accordance with their own policies and applicable agreements.

12. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We reserve the right to refine and update this Privacy Policy from time to time as Ora's features and data practices evolve.

We will update the “Last updated” date when changes are made and will provide appropriate notice of material changes through the Service where required.

If we materially change how Ora uses Google user data, we will provide appropriate notice and obtain additional authorization where required.
